Peru and Chile are world leaders in the production of fish meal and fish oil used as raw material for the production of aquaculture feedstuff.  Eels, salmon or shrimps are species that require a high quality fish meal. It is however used also as animal feed component for chicken feed, pig feed, ruminant feed, etc.

It is proved scientifically that the quality of fishmeal and its conversion rates used as raw material for the elaboration of the feed in aquaculture and animal feed are in direct correlation to the gain in weight and product performance mortality. Fish meal from these origins has been highly appreciated for its excellent performance.
It is usually packed in 50kg PP/PE bags, shipped in 20’ or 40’ dry cargo containers. It can also be packed in 1 Ton maxi bags or Fullpack™, according to customer’s requirements.

b. FISH OIL (crude, semi-refined and refined)

Fish oil is used as an ingredient in many products, such as: aqua culture feed, food industry (margarine, biscuits, etc.), paints and oils and pharmaceuticals. Its high Omega 3 (EPA-DHA) content makes it an important ingredient in numerous nutritional products. It can also be found as a component of certain drugs, in pill or liquid form.
Main specifications of crude fish oil are as follows

Packing: in bulk, in aprox.190kg steel drums in 20’ or 40’ Fcls., in flexi-tanks that fit in 20' containers and hold up to 20 tons of oil, 1,000 kg tote bins, easy to transport in 20' containers, fitting 20 bins per container.

c. SALMON MEAL

Salmon meal is a natural meal elaborated from aquaculture salmon remnants and used for producing balanced diets for other aquaculture species and animal feed.

d. SALMON OIL

Crude salmon oil is fabricated exclusively from farm-raised salmon and trout in South Chilean waters – no other protein sources are used. A high concentration of Omega 3 is gained from this raw material, which is a fundamental ingredient from fish nutrition that is needed for human health.

e. SQUID MEAL

Squid meal is a seasonal product elaborated fully from giant squid, hence reaching high protein values up to 78% with low histamine levels. It can also be elaborated in combination with other species (anchovy, jack mackerel, etc.).

f. HOKI MEAL

Hoki meal is a season product elaborated from hoki remnants as a by-product of hoki fillets elaboration.
